Features

Context

Macro-Context Engine

1,000+ pages without losing the thread

Our Map-Reduce pipeline analyzes your entire manuscript — chapter summaries, glossary terms, style guides — before translating a single sentence. Every paragraph knows the full arc of the book.

Fidelity

Zero-Loss Layout

Layout-safe document handling

Your Word file is converted into a translation-ready working copy that keeps formatting, footnotes, and cross-references intact. The finished .docx comes back ready for editorial review.

Control

Editorial Control

"Close to the source" vs. "Reads like an original"

Choose your translation approach before the engine begins. Close to the source preserves the author's sentence structure and terminology. Reads like an original freely restructures for native flow — with every fact and meaning intact. Terms your reviewers approve can be saved to an organization glossary that carries into every future project.

Grounding

Licensed Bible References

Exact Bible passages, never paraphrased

When a text cites a Bible passage, the pipeline inserts the exact wording from the selected licensed target-language Bible translation instead of paraphrasing it.

Privacy

GDPR Compliant

Hosted in Germany, 14-day auto deletion

All processing occurs on EU-hosted infrastructure in strict compliance with GDPR and the EU AI Act. Source documents and generated translations are irrevocably deleted after 14 days. Backed by a strict zero-data-retention guarantee, your manuscripts will never be used to train third-party AI models.

02 — Architecture

From Manuscript to Market

Step 1

Upload

Your .docx is prepared into translation-ready sections while preserving formatting, notes, and document structure.

Step 2

Analyze

The Map phase reads every chunk in parallel — extracting glossary candidates, style patterns, and a global book summary.

Step 3

Approve Glossary

Review the auto-generated glossary. Add, edit, or remove terms. Your approved glossary becomes a hard constraint for every translated sentence.

Step 4

Translate

Each chunk is translated with full macro-context: the global summary, approved glossary, style guide, and (optionally) exact passages from the selected licensed Bible translation.

Step 5

Download

The translated content is rebuilt into a polished .docx that is ready for editorial review.

03 — Languages

FAQ

ProsaBridge uses Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) with Single Sign-On. There is no generic sign-up form. When an organization account logs in for the first time, their tenant is provisioned automatically via Just-In-Time (JIT) provisioning, but it remains inactive until our team verifies and activates the organization. Only activated organizations can access the platform.

This is a high-touch B2B process. You request a quote or book a demo with our team. We issue a manual invoice based on your selected word tier. Payment is completed via SEPA wire transfer. Upon receipt, we credit the prepaid words to your organization's Tenant ID in our system.

No. Your prepaid word credits never expire. Use them on your schedule, across as many translation projects as you need.

Currently, ProsaBridge supports Microsoft Word (.docx) files. InDesign (.idml) support is on our roadmap.

ProsaBridge uses the latest XLIFF architecture for 100 % preservation of your book layout. This technology requires the modern .docx format. If you have an old .doc file open in "Compatibility Mode," ProsaBridge automatically disables itself to prevent layout errors. Simply save your manuscript as .docx, and the tool will activate immediately.

All infrastructure is hosted in Germany on EU-compliant servers. Source documents and generated translations are deleted automatically within 14 days after completion. We maintain zero AI-training data retention — your manuscripts are never used to train or improve any language model. This fully satisfies the rigorous transparency and copyright requirements of the European AI Act.

ProsaBridge supports bidirectional translation between seven European languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Dutch — and translates from any of them into Chinese, in Simplified and Traditional script. That gives you 49 translation directions. All languages are included with every pricing plan. If you need a language not listed, contact us to discuss your requirements.
